In January we talked about New Year’s resolutions; for this month it’s time to act! Have you prepared your special geolocation to-do list? In February the Web Geo Services Team gives you the keys for a successful online client experience. Here’s the agenda:

  1. Implementing my Store Locator. Simple and easy to set up, this widget will enable the internet user to find your brick-and-mortar store in record time. Don’t forget, no sooner geolocated than visited!

  2. Switching to HTTPS. I don’t lose sight of the fact that today Google Chrome is the browser most people use. I have client experience and personal data protection in mind by choosing HTML5 geolocation over an IP address.

  3. Contextualizing my messages. I adapt my communication according to the geographical usage of my clients. Uniform and massive advertising campaigns are passé.

  4. Reviewing the basics in terms of delivery tracking. Sometimes pictures are worth a thousand words...
